Adopt a Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Mia the Dog needs a home

Mia is approximately 10-11 years old and weighs 20 pounds. She certainly doesn't look her age or act it. Mia loves going on walks, playing with her tennis ball, and doing sprints across the room when she’s happy to see you. Although she would be just as happy spending the day cuddling on the couch with you. She is bursting with love for all her people and would want nothing more than to just be near you. It would be impossible to feel alone or unloved with this girl in your life.

Mia was unfortunately surrendered by her owners due to financial hardships. She had some medical complications not long after, but has now made a miraculous recovery. Her life has been a little rocky up until now so she can be somewhat apprehensive of new things. But she’s strong and quickly realizes that she’s safe. We are looking for a quiet home where Mia won't be alone for long stretches of time. She has been through a lot and needs some consistency in her life.

She currently lives happily with two cats in her foster home, but finds small children a little overwhelming and would be more comfortable with ages 13+. Mia is house trained, knows basic commands, has many years ahead of her, and would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.
