Adopt a Rhodesian Ridgeback (short coat)

Rhodesian Ridgeback (short coat) Dog

Winnie the Dog needs a home

Winnie is an owner surrender.  We feel like she would grow and thrive if she was the only dog in the home because she has some anxiety and is nervous about new things. She is a beautiful Rhodesian/ hound (possibly mastiff) mix. She gets along with other dogs in her foster home now that she is settled in and weighs about 40 lbs.

She is shy around new people, new animals, new sounds, smells.  She is

perfectly calm when he is in his house and his yard.  Winnie just needs to be loved and protected in her forever home.

She was found off of Hwy 30 and Winslow (by the fair) in pretty rough shape, but doing better already.  She needs to put on a few pounds and his slight skin irritation (possibly flea allergy) needs to clear up.  She is eating regularly and on antibiotics. She's got a small limp where a car may have hit him while lose on the street, but the vet says she's a very healthy girl.

My foster mom describes me as very affectionate, good natured, lazy, smart, charming, silly, clumsy, cuddly, sweet, and very loyal.  She just wants to sit next to you and get all the love.  She enjoys going on long walks and is house trained.

If you want a calm and loving dog then Winnie is the pup for you.
