Adopt a Rat Terrier / Mixed (medium coat)
Lucy the Dog needs a home
Lucy lived with a family since she was a puppy but when they decided to move they did not want to take their two dogs with them. Lucy was surrendered to Emmy’s Hope Rescue to be rehomed.
Lucy is very shy and cautious and it takes her awhile to get used to her surroundings and trust new humans. Once she feels secure, she loves being close to her favorite person and gets very attached. Lucy is good with other dogs, once she gets to know them and she is OK with cats too, if they are dog friendly. Lucy is fine with older children but she may snap at small children. Little Lucy needs a quiet family that will have the patience and love to help her build her self confidence.
Estimated birth date: April 2013
Approximate weight: 11 lbs.
