Cattle Dog / Shepherd (short coat) Dog

Sundance the Dog needs a home

Hi everybody! The nice people who rescued me at SHR want me to tell you about myself. So here it goes! My brother and I were found abandoned in TC Jester park on a hot summer day. We had been tied to workout equipment with no food or water. We were so thirsty. I am not good at telling time, but the people at the park said we had been there for several hours. We were so scared that we had wrapped our leads around the equipment and couldn't lay down without choking ourselves. Then, animal control showed up to take us to the pound- yikes! Luckily, the awesome people at SHR got to the park just in time and told us we would be safe forever. What a relief!! But now that horrible day is in my past and I'm looking forward to my new life in a home of my very own.

They say a lady never reveals her true age, but the vet said I am about 3-4 years old. If you ask me, this is the perfect age! I'm not an energetic puppy and have had no accidents at doggy day care (where I live)! They say I seem to be accustomed to life indoors. I am well behaved, calm, low key and love to cuddle. If you let me, I will give sweet and gentle kisses to show you just how much I love you. I want nothing more than to be close to you. I still LOVE to play with my toys. A good game of fetch is always fun!

I am a beautiful (if I do say so myself), medium sized love bug. They say I am possibly a cattle dog mix (def have that herding dog style), but I am happy just being me - a one of a kind girl! They say I am very special! I am super sweet girl and I love playing with other dogs. I'm not too keen on the bossy or bonkers ones, but another medium to low key dog I definitely can dig.  Little kiddos are not really my thing as they are just too darn unpredictable.  My brother has been adopted- I am so happy for him, but my one wish is that I can find a home of my own soon too, or at least a temporary "foster" as they call it so I can get out of boarding. I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations- so I am ready to be adopted! Could that be you?  You can email my people at [email protected] to talk to me, yes me, personally!  Come on guys - help me find a foster or forever home!
