Cher, Sonny's Mom the Dog needs a home

Cher is a 9 year old Pit Bull who came into the shelter along with her son, Sonny. Both of them are very sweet & people friendly, just really nice dogs.



Cher is an affectionate girl who just loves attention - she loves to be petted & to cuddle with her people.  She takes treats very gently and appears to let you know when she needs to go out.  She knows the commands sit, paw, down and stay. She loves to play, but has destroyed every stuffed toy she owns.  She still plays with them, minus the stuffing and squeakers.



Cher rides like a lady in the car & enjoys just sitting in a car, even when it's not moving. She loves to go for walks & is good on a leash. Cher is good with older kids - little kids make her nervous - but she isn't fond of other dogs so she needs to be the only dog in the house. However, when passing a dog that is in its own yard, unleashed, Cher just ignores them.



Cher is just a HONEY of a dog who needs some love and attention!  She is very sweet, smart and loves "her" people!
