Tina: A Very Special Sweetheart the Cat needs a home
A very special cat who needs a kind soul to be her perfect long-term foster or forever companion, Tina is a young girl who was found in the bushes, desperately begging her rescuer for help—while remaining sweet and gentle and loving all the while. She was so friendly that her rescuer knew she had to take Tina in and get her the urgent medical care she clearly needed, especially after Tina gave her a few imploring head-butts.
Tina is incredibly affectionate and enjoys petting and brushing. She prefers to play with rope toys, and loves being picked up gently. (She never bites or scratches when she’s picked up too quickly, however. She’s just too sweet for that!)
We think that Tina may have come from a hoarder’s home, where the hoarder kept sick cats with healthy ones. Unfortunately, Tina tested positive for FeLV, but fortunately, she is not currently symptomatic. She looks and acts as any other, healthy cat. She’s great with small children, but she must be the only cat in her new foster or forever home, as FeLV is contagious to other felines. (Besides, she prefers to be solo, anyway!)
Tina is about 2 years old, spayed, and and up to date with all vaccines. She’s FeLV positive, but in the right environment, she has the prospect of many happy years of love and affection ahead of her. If you’d like to meet Tina, contact Gregory at [email protected]!
