Brodie is a healthy 7 year old Catahoula who is in need of a little more attention and kindness in his life. Unfortunately for this poor boy, his family's new work schedule and hectic family life is preventing him from getting all the attention he deserves. Catahoulas are working dogs, and Brodie needs daily exercise to be a happy pup. He would make an excellent running/walking partner and would love a big yard to play in as he loves the outdoors. Unfortunately in Brodie's current situation, he spends a lot of time outside watching the neighborhood kids and dogs running loose while he is stuck behind his fence. Brodie vents his frustration at being left out by barking loudly as he watches the world pass him by. We feel like most of his barking stems from boredom since his family no longer has the time to properly take care of his exercise needs. Brodie is fine with most dogs when given a slow introduction, but isn't fond of dogs who try to force an intro without following the proper doggie etiquette. Brodie currently shares a home with 2 other dogs, a kitty, and a 3 year old and gets along well with them all. Brody is crate trained and considers his crate a safe space where he can hide away from scary thunderstorms. Brodie is a sweet boy who we feel would blossom in a home that has the time to show him the attention and kindness he deserves. Brodie is microchipped, neutered,and up to date on vaccinations and monthly heartworm and flea prevention. This is a courtesy posting.
