Adopt a Tortoiseshell (short coat)
**California Pumpkin the Cat needs a home
This sweet girl began her journey to Wisconsin when she was found crossing a busy freeway in California. Someone nearby managed to get her to safety and through a few different homes she made her way to Montello. She lived happily with her family there until they had to move. When the time came to leave they put Cali Pumpkin outside and drove away. A neighbor who had known the family and knew they had moved away spotted Cali Pump waiting at the side door of the empty house for someone to let her in. "California" Pumpkin is now safely in the care of a Little Orphan's volunteer foster and is ready to settle into a warm, loving forever Wisconsin home. This little beauty turned one year old in October 2011, her adoption fee helps cover her spay and UTD vaccinations. We do not know if California Pumpkin is social with dogs but it is certain that she is in love with housemate Tanner. Their foster mom said "It's like they are dating, they are always snuggling together. They are pretty attached." She feels that Cali Pumpkin and Tanner need to be together. If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website www.littleorphansanimalrescue.org to submit an application online! If you can take these two love birds together Little Orphans would be willing to negotiate on adoption fees. They are both altered, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, flea/tick treated and microchipped. Both California Pumpkin and Tanner have tested negative for FIV/FeLV/ and Heartworm.
