"Did you know? Treeing Walker Coonhounds are loving, intelligent, confident, and enjoy interacting with humans. They make a splendid companion dog for an owner who understands the characteristics of the breed. Outside, they are tireless, alert, and intense. At home; they are mellow, sensitive lovers of comfort. They like having their own crate or other space into which they can retreat at will. Owners have noted that “getting a Walker hound out of a bed, off a couch or away from a fireplace will be a feat in itself.”



Cornelia Parker is 100% hound!   She will love to be kept busy with exercise, on walks or in a yard.   A Treeing Walker needs plenty of companionship and activity to be happy.  She'd be a great dog if you'd like to get involved in tracking or search and rescue. She can also be a great hiking or running companion, with a high level of endurance.  You’ll be ready to stop before she will!  Cornelia Parker is a gorgeous, playful, and friendly girl who just wants someone to be her super charged companion!



Since Cornelia Parker’s estimated birthdate is 5/10/2015, her adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 15% discount on adoption fees].  Must be at least 21 years of age to apply.
