Connie the Cat needs a home

She was abandoned in an apartment by herself


This is an urgent plea for a responsible loving foster or adoptive home for our senior girl -- Connie.




Connie
 
is a 13-year-old tuxedo female, she is fixed vaccinated and tested negative for all diseases. 




Connie has lived a very sad life. Her elderly owner passed away and she was left abandoned locked in an apartment alone for weeks. Image Connie's distress, loneliness and confusion. When we first met Connie, she was cautious around humans, and would hiss and growl at the caretakers, but behind her expressive eyes we would see her sadness and bewilderment. 




Connie can be feisty and fearful of other male cats, but is now becoming very trusting of people. Connie welcomes petting, but doesn't like to be picked up. Connie especially loves her treats and gentle playtime with her wand-toy. Connie likes her space, and likes to sleep either perched up high on top of the shelf or hide way down low in a cabinet.
