This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care. 

Kelly, Kate and Lance are adorable 4 month old kittens who were rescued from a shelter in NC. They are siblings and are very sweet kitties! They are definite love bugs who want nothing more than to be held and to cuddle. They will demand it even if you are busy! They love to be brushed and are also happy to wrestle with each other or play with their toys. They are good eaters and get along great with others. 
They will be equally happy to be adopted separately or together. 
They are currently being fostered in a loving home in NC while they await transport to DPR, which is scheduled for Feb 18th, but we are accepting applications for them now! 

Kelly, Kate and Lance have tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms    
      Adoption fee is: $150 plus refundable spay/neuter deposit of $40

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
