Adopt a Siberian Husky (short coat)
Lobo the Dog needs a home
Lobo is as smart as he is handsome. He's always eager to learn and enjoys his training sessions. He's got plenty of energy and would do well in an active home, but he's also affectionate and likes cuddling up and being a couch potato. Although Lobo had issues with strangers in his last home, he has liked every person he's met at the Sanctuary. Lobo can jump fences, so he'll need a home with a secure enclosure and a person who can keep him safe. Lobo has been successful meeting dogs his size on walks and for play dates at the Sanctuary, but he has shown aggression toward small dogs in the past and would do best as the only dog in a home. Born in 2011, Lobo has chronic pain in his back end. Because of his pain issues, he is sensitive with handling and has bitten in the past. He is likely to be most successful in an adult-only home with a person who can give him the exercise he needs. At Dogtown, he's working on learning his manners, getting more comfortable with handling and interacting successfully with other dogs.
