Katie the Cat needs a home
Meet Katie!
When we received a young momma kitty, Katie, with her 5 kittens, during transport one kitten was left behind. The temporary home had no idea they forgot to place him in the carrier! After the family arrived at their destination and realized a kitten was missing, they called the temporary home and asked if he was there. Poor little guy was so small he hid to sleep under the bathroom sink. When he was awakened, he was frantic looking for his family as he had been left 'Home Alone'! SO, Katie received the name of the mom in the Home Alone movie just like little Kevin and his siblings did, too, during that forgetful moment. This sweet girl was an excellent mother and wasn't much older than a kitten herself when she had her babies.
Katie is very social, sweet, playful, and easy going. She Loves to be petted, talked to, and being part of the family. She is very social and loves human interaction and playing with toys..especially soft mice and ping pong balls. Katie LOVES playing with toys more than any other cat that we have and can entertain herself for long periods of time chasing those toys and batting them around as if her paws were moving a hockey puck!! She is a delight to watch!
She doesn't seem to love dogs, though, and she is stressed around them, so she should be in a forever home without dogs.
Katie is really a "gem" of a cat and will make a GREAT family member! She will do well as an only cat or with non aggressive felines. She is so deserving of a forever home and has been patiently waiting until her babies were all adopted. Now it is her turn for her dreams of a forever family to come true.
