Charlie the Dog needs a home
Charlie is a Yorkie / ShihTzu / Chihuahua mix that came to us after local animal control officers seized him from a hoarding situation. He is a very sweet little man weighing in at about 9 lbs. Charlie is shy and hesitant, but warms up with a little encouragement. He loves a comfortable lap, and is great with the other small dogs in his foster home, but would probably be less overwhelmed by older children. Charlie likes nice cats, but has learned to be wary of sulky ones. This little guy walks well on a leash and is kennel-trained.
Charlie is current on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. He has tested heartworm negative. Current on flea preventative and heartworm preventative.
**Please note that like all pups of similar breed, this pet has a grooming requirement. He will need to be groomed every 6-8 weeks, which requires more than just cutting his hair back, so a grooming reference is required. We ask that you factor the cost of grooming into your pet care budget.
