Meet Ash!
Ash is about 2 years old and came to us when he was a pup and was adopted into an amazing home where he spent his days relaxing in a comfy bed in the corner of his mom's Pilates studio and just provided to the cuteness of the atmosphere while his mom taught Pilates classes. You see, Ash just LOVES his people. He's happy to just relax and listen to the music of the day with you but he also would love to be your partner to help keep off that winter weight!
Unfortunately, Ash is a victim of hurricane Harvey now. Multiple people in his family lost their homes and Ash is also part of that loss. Ash is a small to medium size boy, about 40lbs and fully vetted, neutered and house trained.
Ash has developed Masticatory Myotisis which is a big word for basically, lost some muscle tone. He had a huge head, and now his head is a little smaller. The vets say this was caught soon enough and is under control. And is kept at bay with a small dose of prednisone. And other than a "normal sized head" there are no other effects that Ash is showing. Please do not let that stop you from adopting Ash. We'd be happy to talk with you about this!
