Archie the Dog needs a home
Meet our adorable lug, Archie.
Archie is one of the puppies in our Hee Haw litter. Mama, Minnie Pearl, had her litter of nine shepherd mix puppies under a neighbor's trailer home. This turned out to be a good thing, when that home owner agreed that the puppies needed to be rescued, not left to try to survive in the dirt. Mom was emaciated and could not raise the litter without help.
This is where Take Me Home Rescue Volunteers jumped in to help feed and care for the puppies along side Minnie Pearl.
The babies have now been weaned and are ready to find Forever Homes of their own. Archie is the largest of the litter. We stop short in saying the most adorable, because that just isn't fair to his adorable siblings. But, he is one big lug of a boy that loves to be snuggled.
Archie is loving his time in a foster home. He is learning to run in the backyard with the "big boys" in the home and he is coming into his own dog. He is going to make a fabulous member of the family.
For our puppies, we require someone home more than not. Whether it is a stay at home parent or a work from home parent . . . these babies need lots of love and training throughout the day. We are looking for kids who are old enough to understand puppy behavior and are experienced in handling a small animal carefully and respectfully.
