Adopt a Lionhead (medium coat)
Cagney the Rabbit needs a home
Cagney & Lacey were taken in from Companion Animal Alliance on Sept 1st, 2017. These two were a bonded couple, but began fussing too much so they were separated in their foster home about a week after arriving.
Since being separated, Cagney has become a little less defensive, but still charges on occasion. She will come up to the front of the cage for nose bonks, but will nip at the dog who comes over to sniff her. Also runs around whenever the foster dog barks. She does well with the litterbox (about 90%).
This pet is fostered in Baker, LA.
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped or previously tattoed with "MHR" in the ear. Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days. Transport to other areas can sometimes be arranged after adoption approval. See magichappensrescue.com/adoptinfo for full information on adoption and an adoption application.
Want to help the bunnies but can't adopt? You can sponsor a spay or neuter or help in many other ways. See http://magichappensrescue.com/howtohelp for more ways to help.
