Adopt a Siamese / Mixed (short coat)
Max the Cat needs a home
Max is a beautiful flame point Siamese mix with gorgeous blue eyes. He was adopted from a shelter at a few months old. He is now 7 years old, has been fixed and has all his claws. He is sweet and loving and enjoys lounging near you or laying next to you if you are watching TV or reading. He can be a bit of a talker especially when he wants a treat and will cry if he misses you. Max also has very bad anxiety. He becomes unhappy if there are new people, loud children or deviations from his routine. He has marked in the house when he gets too upset, so he is currently on Prozac to help him deal with his stress. Due to this, he will need an owner who can be patient and gentle with him while he transitions. It’s important that he be adopted into a quiet home without young children or dogs and where he can have hiding places if he is uncomfortable. He is OK with another cat who are relaxed and not territorial. Max has been a wonderful and loving pet, and needs a safe and loving new family who can help him feel secure and give him the attention he craves.
Due to Max's nature, included in his adoption fee is a months supply of Prozac, his bed & toys, as well as his preference in litter, food & treats. Note: it is possible for Max to wean off the Prozac once he is in a calm environment and feels safe with his surroundings.
Adoption fee: $65
