Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

~~We are sisters Piper and Charm. We came into the program together with our kittens which we were co-parenting. We lived outside for the first 10 months of our lives cared for by a family with young children. We liked the kids because they fed us treats and String Cheese! The family asked for help when they realized we were both becoming mommas. Our kittens have all been adopted, so now we are ready to find a home of our own.

I am the lighter tabby, Charm. I am very outgoing once I get to know you. I like to follow my people around and "talk" to them. I also likes to sit in windows and will meow or you to open them for me. I also love my track ball toy and have recently started to accept belly rubs.

I am the darker, smaller tabby, Piper. I am much more shy, but my foster family thinks that once I am in my own home I will turn into a cuddle bug. I will look at you expectantly with my tail up like I want to be petted, and then run away when you reach for me. I will sniff your fingers, and sometimes I do allow one small pet, but that is all for now. I love treats, especially String Cheese, but only the orange and white kind.I am a champion toy chaser and queen of  the ball track toy.

We have never been apart from each other and we need to go to a home together. We would really like to be adopted into a patient home where we will be given time to settle in since we can be a little shy. We turned 2 years old in late July of 2017. We are very playful and are great with other cats.

We recently spent some time at the adoption center and we did not like it there. They didn't have any comfy chairs or anything! Our foster family says we need to go straight from their home to our new home, and we agree.
