RAMSES the Horse needs a home
Ramses was severely emaciated when he was rescued by The Humane Society''s Animal Cruetly Taskforce. With proper nutrition and a slow refeeding program Ramses easily put weight on. He is still developing muscle but is already extremely handsome. We believe Ramses is a Saddlebred and Arabian Cross. He has been evaluated by our trainers and they believe he has some previous training but needs a refresher. Ramses has been restarted in the training program. He is energetic but does focus and loves people.
UPDATE JAN. 2017: Ramses is very sweet natured and gentle. At this point he is `green broke` but is doing very well in the training program. Currently, he requires an experienced rider since he is still learning and sometimes unsure of what to do under saddle. He has a lovely trot and will soon be starting training on the trails when the weather improves. Ramses is consistently working in the indoor arena. He would rather go slow and is working on maintaining the canter.
