Angel is a very sweet, affectionate, spry and inquisitive older lady with a LOT of life and love left to give her humans. She loves being snuggled, giving and getting kisses, going for walks, chasing squirrels, playing "tug" with humans, and treat time. Angel gets along well with our 2 resident (female) beagles, both of whom are non-dominant. Early on, she had a couple of instances of resource-guarding human attention but was easily corrected. She is very house-trained - no accidents 
despite being left uncrated while the humans are gone during the weekday. Angel sleeps quietly through the night on a dog bed in our bedroom. She goes pretty well on leash (pulls a bit, especially when she sees squirrels) and does best with one moderate to long walk a day, weather permitting.




Because of her age and small size, and occasional mouthiness, Angel would do best with older, respectful children. She will bark at the postal carrier, dogs & humans walking past the yard, and when she hears her humans coming home. So, a home with shared walls may not be a good fit for her. Because she loves exploring outdoors and chasing squirrels, a house with a fenced yard would be best (she does not jump fences or dig, so a short fence is OK).




Inside, Angel is a devoted little shadow who wants to follow humans around and get snuggled at every opportunity. Don't let her age fool you - she has good years left. So, if you want a loving companion and don't mind - or like - lots of kisses - Angel may be the dog for you.
