Hello, my name is Bosco. I'm a 35-40 pound, male, lab/terrier mix and my brother Boris and I are patiently waiting for our chance at a forever home. We feel like we've been waiting for so long, but we're willing to keep waiting until our forever family or person comes to get us. We won't give up hope.
I'm not sure how I ended up in the scary shelter, but I know I didn't like it. It's loud and noisy and there were lots of dogs much bigger than me. Sometimes they tried to boss me around and take my toys. Most of them were really nice though and some told me what a forever home is like.
They said that at a forever home you get your own toys and treats and you get to go on fun walks and maybe even puppy school or the dog park. It sounds like heaven to me! I can't wait to find my furever home.
Until that happens, I'm going to wait right here ... Hopefully I won't have to wait too much longer. Are you waiting for a special doggie like me? I hope so!
FOSTER UPDATE: We've had him for two weeks and he has gained a lot of confidence! Loud noises are no problem, he goes up to greet people walking by our fence and people at the dog park, etc. We had two accidents in the house when we first got him, but he's def not struggled with potty training since then. He only chews on appropriate toys (aka when he's in a chewing mood he gets a hard bone, when he wants to play, he can have a softer toy) and hasn't destroyed anything, toy or otherwise. He just loves his pets from his favorite people!
Like most young dogs, Bosco will need to work on his housetraining. He will also need to go to obedience school so he can grow into a well-socialized dog!
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of transport from the shelter and routine vetting, vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Kristen at [email protected].
