Nyx is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is June 2014.


All cats seem to think they are gods, but I'm actually named after a goddess. Nyx was the goodness of Night, renown for her beauty and strength. That definitely fits me, though my personality is more sunshine than dark skies.


I am a sweet little lady who loves back scratches and head bumps. I like to have a good conversation with my humans, but I know when to stay quiet. As a goddess cat, I will reward my admirers with rapt attention and companionship. 


But, as a modern goddess, I do have an independent streak. You won't find me plopping down on the laptop when you're trying to work, or waking you at 3 a.m. because I'm bored. After all, as the goodness of Night, that is my busy time. But you will usually find me at your side, enjoying  our time together.  


I tend to be a bit bossy with other cats, but that's because they need my divine guidance. I would do well as an only cat or in a home with a confident cat who can hold their own. I can be shy with new people, so I will need an owner willing to allow me time  to acclimate and adjust.
