Howie Barnwell the Dog needs a home

This beautiful young dog is Howie, a super friendly Pointer mix. Before arriving at EHR, Howie was in a foster home and his foster family reports that "Howie is very friendly, loves people, and loves to play with other dogs.  Howie is good with cats too."His foster mom in New Jersey agrees, she reports that he is a happy lovable guy. He hugs her to thank her for bringing him home.



Howie is the dog that everyone stops and comments about how beautiful he is!  In fact, Howie is a joy to watch whether he is playing, running or just patiently waiting in his crate for a potential adopter.  And if you are looking for an amazing running partner, Howie is definitely your dog! The truth is that Howie is pretty near perfect, in fact the only thing he is lacking is a loving home and an adopter who will offer Howie some simple manners training.
