Talbot the Dog needs a home

A NICE / GENTLE GUY:  10 years old / 43 lbs.  Mostly Mutts adoption facility is open Mon-Sat. 11-4pm.  Some of us are in foster homes so please call 770-272-6888 1st to find out if I’m available to meet during the week.  I’m a sweet older guy who loves head scratches and nice leisurely walks with the volunteers.  I had a great time with the MM photographer who had treats for me while we did my photo shoot.  We found that I’m very treat motivated and do need some training on taking treats more gently.  I walk nicely on my leash and am not in a hurry to get anywhere, I just enjoy getting out and taking a stroll with you.  Things don’t seem to faze me on my walks, like cars driving by, etc.  My potty manners have been very good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will translate to potty trained in a home.  I have a nice quiet nature unless I’m in my little room and know that you’re there, then I’d like to be with you, so I’ll call you with my big bark.  I’m a sweetie looking for a sweet family to love!  I would do best as your only dog as I’ve not reacted well to the other dogs I’ve met at MM’s. But, I met the nice shelter kitty and was respectful to her, I simply ignored her, so maybe I could be friends with a kitty in your home too. Energy level:  3-5.    Best no very young kids as I simply haven’t been around kids yet.  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, neutered and my adoption fee is $275.00.
