Adopt a Brittany (medium coat)

Hi Brittany Lovers!   My name is Belle and I am the most affectionate and loving 36-pound orange/white Brit girl ever...promise!  I am 6 years old and I was raised by a breeder who kept making me have puppies and live outside.  When he found out I had Addison's disease he surrendered me to NBRAN.  I never knew life could be so good!  I love sleeping on a soft bed and cuddling with my foster mother and dad. I love to snuggle, give kisses and would enjoy being your baby girl.

I am mostly an indoor dog now, but like to go outside with my Brittany and Beagle siblings and hunt squirrels in the yard.  I also like playing hide and seek with my foster dad's shoes!   I also love squeak toys and to romp and play, but I will drop everything to cuddle.  I am house trained with a dog door but am not on a schedule since I can go out any time I want. 

I'm a bit of a high maintenance girl...I don't need furs or diamonds but do need an injection of Percorten once every 4-6 weeks (been averaging five) and a Prednisone pill every other day. This costs about $125 a month depending on your vet, but in return you will get loads of love and affection.  I'm worth it!!!  When NBRAN got me, my teeth were a mess and I had to have a couple pulled, so it would be a good idea to have a dental at least once a year.  I would like to go to a furever home where I will get lots of love and where I will be allowed to live mostly inside.  I am HW negative and am up to date on all my vaccines, spayed and on HW prevention.

The fee to adopt Belle in Texas is $350 to offset her vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.

Medical:  Please talk with your vet and feel free to have your vet talk to Belle's vet.  Belle is doing great and is a very happy dog.  It is just very important that she gets her meds, the love she has is worth it.  She is one fabulous girl.
