March the Dog needs a home
March is a month that brings springtime warmth and sunshine, and it is also the name of our gregarious Cattle Dog/Thai Ridgeback mix! March is a Soi Dog rescued from the illegal dog meat trade in Southeast Asia by Soi Dog Foundation, our partner rescue based in Thailand. She and a group of her friends traveled from the SDF facility in Phuket and were flown stateside to The Barking Lot in October 2017. March is a sweet, friendly, affectionate, and easygoing lady. March gets along well with everyone she meets whether two or four legged. She is particularly fond of people, and we can tell by the way her tiny-tipped tail waves back and forth like a windshield wiper when she greets volunteers. She has fairly low to moderate exercise requirements, preferring to take walks at her own leisurely pace once she has settled into the concept. March has an extremely short and low-maintenance coat, and adorable wrinkles that add to her expressive face. At roughly 40 pounds and a little over 4 years of age, March is ready to settle into a forever home to call her own!
