Adopt a American Pit Bull Terrier

he's 1 yr 9 months weighs about 50 lbs. fawn color hazel eyes, very healthy. no medical problems but we do give him a sedative before he takes his yearly shot because he's very active. he's never been around anybody except my husband and i and our 2 1/2 yr old jack russell terrier jessica. he's a sweet dog around us, but will bark up a storm if others come around us. he's never bitten nobody until here recently the caregiver let him in the house after i told her not to because he's never bitten anybody but he's unpredictable and you never know so i don't want to ever take a chance since he's never been around nobody. but she claimed she was a dog whisperer and let the dog in and he didn't know who she was so he bit her on the risk and my sick husband had to get him from grabbing her ankle. so now we don;t have a caregiver for my husband because of this ladies action not listening to what i asked her not to do. so now we don't have house insurance because of this and no insurance will cover our house as long as we have a pit bull. we are soo heartbroken right now, we've had him since he was 3 weeks old. but once he gets to know you he is the sweetest and loving pit bull i know. and very protective. he;s good with our jessica so i know he would be good around other dogs. i think he would make a very good service dog if he's trained right even a good companion and protector for a household who has a small dog like a jack russell who needs another mate. he's been neutered and all his shots are up to date. we would hate to see him be put to sleep when he really is a good dog. and can maybe service somebody and their pet. pit bull's are always getting a bad rap when they really are good natured dogs if trained right and around more people.
