Rufus  is a 3 yr old male 26 lb Schnauzer mix who was hit by a car but luckily only had bruising and no injuries.  He was picked up by a fireman and dropped off at a vet clinic.  Rufus was not reclaimed and is now ready for adoption after having been neutered and vetted.  He is very healthy, crate trained, quiet and very happy with his people he knows.  He is shy with strangers.  For this reason we suggest no children.  He tolerates other dogs and seems to get along well with them.  Maybe one day he might play with them?  It seems he has had a hard life, as he does not know what toys are, or how to play with people or other dogs....but he is making progress daily!  Not sure how he is with cats.  Adoption fee is $200.  If interested please call 404-997-2831 or email [email protected]
