Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Chico (bonded with Chester) the Cat needs a home
Meet Chester and Chico! These sweet boys are 3 1/2 and 9 1/2 years old, respectively. They arrived at Tabby Town together in March of 2017. They had previously been in a home together and are very bonded.
Chico (the orange and white male) was very quick to adapt to his new environment. He is a confident and friendly cat, so he has no problem walking around and greeting everyone he sees. Sometimes he can be dominant with other mal
e cats, but never with Chester. His personality really helps to make Chester feel safe and secure, which is one of the reasons they must be adopted together. Chico is considered a senior cat, so his tooth quality is beginning to deteriorate. He will need some dental surgery in the future to keep him healthy and comfortable.
Chester (the gray and white tabby male) struggled with the environment change when he arrived at Tabby Town. He was very nervous and frightened. He needed a lot of reassurance from the people around him and his buddy Chico. Eventually he started to feel more comfortable at Tabby Town. He still is a nervous guy, but he loves some petting and scratching. He would really benefit from a home where he could finally feel completely secure again.
These guys would love to finally be in their furever home. They would do best in a quiet home without young children or dogs.
Chester & Chico will be a special adoption, if you are interested in adopting this special pair, please call the shelter at (716) 822-4910, or email [email protected] and ask to make an appointment with their guardian, Missy, who will be handling their adoption process.
