Adopt a Saint Bernard (medium coat)

Hey, I think they missy-spelled my named, I am Messy, not Missy, here are my photos after a good roll in the mud. I am bumbley and full of play after getting out of quite a lousy situation. I was stuck at a place called The Pound in Laredo, Texas, along with my brother Beethoven (seriously, rescue ladies, Beethoven, not the cleverest name in the St. Bernard book, it’s been done).  I love to play with male dogs, but I am a little too bossy with gal dogs.  I guess I am just used to being the boss, my brother is a measly little 95 pounds compared to my 120 pounds, so I am used to pushing my extra weight around. I might be 5 years old, but the pep in my step is very youthful. I am a busy body and am happiest when I can run and jump around.  They call me the big baby Bernard because the amount of cute I am putting out will make you want to pick me up and cradle me, but you can’t, unless you are a giant, I weigh over 100 pounds. I am smarter than your average dog, I guess you fit more brains in this well proportioned head.  I am looking for a home as an only dog, or a home with a male partner in crime, maybe my brother? I am keeping my paws crossed for perhaps a northern home, because Laredo and San Antonio are both a little caliente for my super cushy coat and God’s Dogs Rescue can transport me to a cooler climate if you adopt me! And they will even give me a bath furst!  Just email Adoptions

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $500.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $800.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
