Jasper SH the Dog needs a home
Jasper is a SUPER sweet little guy who, more than anything, wants to be with his person. He is currently in a foster home and he will follow his foster mom around the house. When she sits down, he parks himself right beside her and snuggles up close. He is what we call a "Velcro dog" because he wants to be with his person as much as possible.
There are 2 other dogs in Jasper's foster home, but he prefers foster mom's company to theirs although he loves to join the chase if he sees deer outside the fence. Then he's in on the "hunt!" We feel that Jasper might be more playful with a dog who is around his size but he would also be quite happy as an "only child". He is best in with other calm dogs rather than high energy pups.
Jasper is a 3 year old Chihuahua, a little guy at only 11 pounds. We are looking for a calm adult home without children or where the kids are 13 & up. He would probably do best in an all-female household. He is also good with cats. Jasper is crate trained, but not at all destructive in his foster home.
Jasper needs a home with people who will give him time to get used to them. We don't know what his life was like before he was rescued, but from the way he cowers sometimes we feel that someone wasn't very nice to him. :( Yet we believe that he will be a wonderful companion for anyone who wants a loving little pal & who is willing to work with this boy.
