DOG'S DESCRIPTION

Eeady is a sweet girl that is patiently waiting for her future family to come scoop her right up! She is still a little shy, but she is warming up very nicely and enjoys playing with toys, other dogs, and hanging around the house. She is currently living in a foster home with two other dogs. Unfortunately, in her past life, no one ever made sure she was on heartworm preventative, so Eeady is heartworm positive. But she is already undergoing treatment and will be right as rain and ready for her new home soon! Are you ready to give her a home she can call forever?

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
