Noel the Dog needs a home

Houston, TX area: “Noel” (our Christmas litter momma) is now ready for her forever home. She's a beautiful, soft, fox red with lovely, soulful, hazel eyes. This girl is perfectly petite at about 40lbs, is house and crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She loves to nap with her bed full of stuffies. Her first couple of years don't seem to have been very nice to her, so she is fairly timid on meeting new people, and isn't a fan of loud noises. She much prefers to be allowed to do the approaching rather than be approached. Because of this, she won't be placed in a home with small children. They are just too unpredictable and move too quickly for her. She is so easy to live with, gets along with other dogs with proper introductions, but will chase a cat or squirrel given the opportunity.
She is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped.
