Penny ADOPTION PENDING the Dog needs a home
Penny is a female black dapple Dachshund. She is 6-7 years old and she weighs 8.8 pounds. Penny is fully vetted including spayed, vaccinated with rabies, occult heartworm tested negative and receiving monthly heartworm prevention. Penny also recently had a dental in which she lost 7 teeth. She is ready for adoption. Penny was overweight when she came to rescue through the Caddo Parish animal shelter. She dropped a third of her body weight to become a beautiful little miniature dachshund. Penny is crate trained. Penny does well with a doggie door or someone home to take her outside to potty every few hours, a little more frequently than some dogs require. Penny loves other dogs and is very social with both dogs and people. She likes to snuggle and play with toys. Penny would make a great companion for most anyone. She is very sweet.
