Buster the Dog needs a home

AVAILABLE SOON

Meet Buster. This 4 year old lanky, athletic boy is ready to find his forever home. Buster has been in foster care for several months while we figured out his allergies. The poor boy came to us with multiple skin infections and lick granulomas. We're happy to report that through allergy testing Buster is now getting regular allergies shots and he is a new pup! Itching is the thing of the past and the only one happier about this than his foster family is him! A shot once every three weeks is a small price to pay for a happy boy and he is so good about getting his shots. Good boy Buster.

Buster is a total sweetheart and loves his people, and he's happy to accept as much attention as you want to give him. He'd therefore be happy living in a house full of people to maximize his receiving pats and belly rubs! Buster has great house manners; he stays off the furniture, hasn't chewed anything he isn't supposed to, doesn't counter surf, has never had an accident and rarely jumps up. He's living peacefully with three other dogs and he is great about leaving the grumpy cat in the house alone.

Buster does seem to thrive with lots of exercise and his enjoying his daily hikes. He can run like the wind, and he loves to play fetch, tug and chase. He can be a bit exuberant when he plays with other dogs, but will back off if the other dog verbally corrects him. He pulls some on leash in the woods, but does quite well with a harness when walking in the neighborhood. He doesn't seem to tire easily, but when it's time to come in, he happily obliges and will pretty much sleep until his next outdoor time session. He is known for the nudge to his foster mom's leg if he thinks he's had to wait too long. He is also famous for his "seal move" where if you're sitting he'll coyly back in so he's right in front of you and lookup over his shoulder into your eyes. Very cute.
