FELISHA the Dog needs a home

Hi, I'm Felisha, and I need your help! Let me tell you a little bit about myself -- I'm a happy hound mix, about 6 years old and 42 pounds. I'm very affectionate, and the humans tell me I have a wonderful smile. I like to do my business outside on my walks.  I am heartworm positive, and my friends here at NHS are going to treat me, but I would really like a home to hang out in while I am going through treatment. Somewhere that is less stressful than the shelter environment. Heartworms are NOT contagious to other animals, so if you already have a dog it's okay just bring them to meet me! i would love to have a friend! NHS will provide everything you need to take care of me while I'm being treated, crate, bowls, toys, food, whatever you need. You provide the love.
