Maddie is 5 years old and a beautiful Tortie girl. She was left at Chicago Animal Care and Control (CACC) in November 2016 after her owner died and no extended family members were willing to take her in. She was in a cage at CACC for 2 months before we rescued her. Maddie has had two foster homes, through no fault of her own, and is still waiting for her forever family. She is a sweet cat, although very shy at first, but with patience and love, Maddie opens up and truly enjoys being with people. This sweet cat is in a warm, loving foster home, but unfortunately she has not taken to the resident cats. Her ideal home will be one with no dogs or other cats, so she can relax and get the attention she truly craves. She is playful, litter-box trained, and is good at using scratching posts.
