Taffy the Dog needs a home

12/21/2017

Hello! I can't believe mom and I are still in foster care. We are the cutest duo ever and we would love to find our forever home!

We are potty trained, we like to voice our opinion when it's dinner time, we love attention and security. We both love to sit on your lap, foster mom calls the both of us "creepers" because once on your lap, we gently belly walk to your face to give you lots of kisses. We are very active and love to be outside. We squirrel watch even when we are in the house! If foster mom hears a high pitched squeal, she knows we have spotted a nutter butter!

Okee Dokee, I would like to share with you two very important facts about me. Then I will tell you about my life.

#1. I must be adopted out as a bonded pair with my mom Tiffin. We have been together since the day I was born and momma Tiffin always protects me. If you see my mom, you will see me right beside her.

#2. We were raised to hunt squirrels. We both go into a frenzy when we see one or more. If we are not properly harnessed and leashed, or in a securely fenced in yard, we will run and you may never see us again.

I am doing extremely well in foster care. My mommy takes good care of me and is my protector. We love other pups, but would like to be the only two pups in your home. We both love attention and give the best kisses. I am potty trained to do my business outside and I am also paper trained in the house. Often times I get so excited outside I forget to do my business and will come into the house and head for the puppy papers. I love toys and have not ever destroyed a toy to this day. I am totally crate trained, eat my meals in my crate and will go there for some quiet time. I sleep in the big bed with foster momma at night, and I lay on a pillow with my mom.

I have the most amazing eyes. I can almost see right through people and I know I am  beautiful. My little legs are a bit longer than momma Tiffins, but we pretty much look alike. I love my momma and I can't go anywhere without her.

I do well in the car, but I do need more training on leash. Too much excitement this time of year with all those fuzzy long tailed critters running about. Foster momma has never seen us catch a squirrel so we won't tell her what we do with them once caught. She won't give us the chance!

My adoption donation is $300.00

I have been in my foster home for five days now. Foster mom thinks it would be best if my mom and I are adopted out as a bonded pair. We are pretty much inseparable and I have been with Tiffin (my mommy) all of my life. If mommy can't see me, she starts crying and searching all over. I am so happy that foster mom and dad have discovered this, we will be together always and forever.

My name is Taffy and I'm a very small Coated Xolo. My coloring is remarkable, I am a bowl of ice cream sundae for your eyes! A little bit of this and a little bit of that and you get a beautiful girl like me. I have stunning eyes and a beautiful coat. I get along with other pups, but when it's feeding time, I need to be crated to eat because I just might eat someone else's food and I will let everyone know what my intentions are.

I came from Mexico where my previous owners wanted me to be euthanized. They didn't want us anymore. My goodness, I'm only two years old and deserve far better than that!A very nice lady came to my mommy's (Tiffin) and my rescue and saved us from sure death. This nice lady brought us all the way to the United States so we have a better chance of being adopted to a loving family.

I love other pups as long as I am introduced to them slowly. I was bred to hunt squirrels, so I need to stay on my leash at all times while I'm out for a walk. I do need a fenced in backyard, and it must be secure. I can jump pretty high and I can run fast!

I saw my doctor today, I am HW negative, UTD on all of my vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. I am ready for my forever home! I couldn't possibly be any more healthy than I am now.

I love people, I love to give kisses and I make the perfect lap pup. It did take me a small minute to warm up to my foster daddy, but we are inseparable now. No small children for me, I am very fine boned and need older children that can respect my small stature. I'm a lion in a small package!
