Adopt a Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Layla(PRA) the Dog needs a home

DOB:  September 2005

Breed/Coloring:  Terrier Mix; brown/black

Size:  Layla weighs about 20lbs and is full grown

History:  Layla was left tied inside the mailbox at a rescue kennel as a baby in the summertime and almost died because of the heat. She has lived at the kennel ever since then and would love to have a home of her own.

Personality:  Layla is very sweet but a bit shy.  She likes to be the Alpha doggie with other dogs, but is timid with people. Once she has a "normal" life we know she will blossom into a super friendly girl.

Training:  Layla has been in a kennel environment so she will need work on her housebreaking - she would like a doggie door.

Would Do Best:  Layla would do best with in an adult only home with someone who can give her the love and time she deserves - someone who is not gone for long hours every day.

Vet Record:  All of our dogs are currently vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped upon adoption.

Cats, Dogs and Kids:  Layla is great with other dogs as long as she can be in charge... she likes calmer, male dogs best. She is great with cats but we don't think she would do well with young children.

Availability:  This dog is available for adoption now. Please email us and we will send you an adoption application. Local adoptions only.
