Bonnie the Dog needs a home

BONNIE is a 3-1/2 year old, spayed American Staffordshire Terrier / Dalmatian mix.  She is a very lovable, playful and girl. Bonnie loves to swim, play tug and grab onto big, braided ropes and just hang (it is so fascinating to see her do it)!  She would be good in agility activities.



She is undergoing training now to dismiss her tendency to jump up on people.  We think it is a greeting mechanism that she used with her former owner.



BONNIE likes to chase birds and squirrels. Bonnie's behavior with cats is curiosity-- she sniffs and nudges them and when they react, she runs off!  So, she would have to be tested with any house cats.  Bonnie likes other dogs as long as they don't try to play rough with her.  Proper introduction will be important.



BONNIE is house trained and crate trained. She loves treats and big pork bones. She has her own bed, but prefers to sleep with her human.

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is an additional $10.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip. If adopting a puppy, the rabies and spay/neuter will be done at the same time by our vet once they are 4 months old and billed to us. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
