RESCUING GERBERT
Sweet, gentle Gerbert was turned into Fulton County Animal Control as a stray. He could barely walk and his skin was in horrible condition. The staff fell in love with his friendly demeanor, affectionately calling him Baby Steps Gerbert. His foster-mom calls him Herb. We do not know why he is having difficulty walking, but he was urgent so we could not waste any time. His mobility has improved greatly although there is no definitive cause yet as our veterinarian is still evaluating him. His skin is healthy and he will have a full, luxurious coat in no time!
ABOUT GERBERT
Herb is a big lovable oaf who enjoys the simple things in life. Despite his young age, he is a low-energy kind of guy. He is good on a leash and likes his daily strolls through the park, but what he really adores are ear rubs and cuddles. He is a shadow pup that will not miss an opportunity to climb into your lap. He has a real soft spot for his big, canine foster-sister Ada and gets a little anxious when she leaves so we think he would benefit from having a doggie-sibling in his new home. He has done well with all introductions so far, dog and cat alike, and is ready for adoption!

Our adoption fee is $250. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevention, and are fed top of the line grain-free food.
