Mack (aka Angel) is a good little friend once you give him time to trust you. He will come and introduce himself with a smell and if you get lower he will show his acceptance with continued curiosity, at which time he will bask in your petting. He is good on leash but will bark at other dogs and strangers. He is friendly with dogs though and enjoys playing with them at the beach. He has lived with cats before and seems happy around them. Mack loves treats and the quickest way to become his best friend is to flaunt the savory delectable.
Mack does some resource guarding of his food and treats but this is towards other dogs and has not displayed this when a person takes anything away.
Mack was found on the side of the road and a family took him in and cared for him and eventually called him their own. Unfortunately, after having 2 kids, they have found that Mack is not good around the high energy and grabby hands of small children. He can get stressed and will become scared. They are worried for Mack's happiness and wellbeing and are sad to say goodbye, yet optimistic he will find a better situation. He is a good boy and in the right home will be a great companion.
