Seniors are a special kind of a companion! My name is
Newton
, and I'm ready to settle down in my retirement! What am I retiring from, you ask? All the crazy days of puppy-hood. Racing around the yard, wrestling, and all those puppy shenanigans are just not for me anymore. Now, don't think all I do is lay around - no sir! Under this slightly gray fur beats the heart of a champion! I still love a gentle trot around the block and playtime with toys (ESPECIALLY a tennis ball), to cuddle, and snooze on my dog bed. I also love and enjoy some tasty treats, but most of all I just want to share my love with you! I would do well with other dogs that are respectful of my space and are a little less rambunctious. So, if you are looking for a young-at-heart senior, with lots of love to give, here I am! I currently weigh 69lbs, but I need to gain a few pounds.I love to play fetch! Medical Needs: Arthritis in hips and lower back that will need to managed with pain/anti-inflammatory medication
Adoption Fee: $225 which includes: neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, DA2PP vaccine, dewormed (panacur), 1st dose of heartworm/flea preventative, recent dental cleaning and hip x-rays (1/16/2018), and microchip.
