Hiya! I'm Chiquita, which is a Spanish word meaning little girl. I'm about 12 pounds. I am shy at first and take a little time to warm up to new people. Once I know you, I really love you and will greet you with excitement. Sometimes to show my affection, I will present my favorite person with a toy or a treat. I LOVE to go for walks and I'm very easy to walk on leash. I prance around quickly and have no trouble keeping up, despite my short legs. I am housetrained. I get along with other little dogs. I am a member of the small dog playgroups.
Chiquita shares a kennel with her sister, Pequena which means little in Spanish. As my name suggests, I am the smaller one between me and my sister Chiquita. I am the more outgoing one too. I'm a friendly and tolerant lady. I also love treats. I'm easy to take for a walk but truth be told, sometimes I only like to walk a little way. Then, I'm happy to be held or put in your jacket and carried the rest of the way. I'm generally a quiet gal in my kennel and love to bury myself under the blankets so I'm warm and snuggly. I get along with other dogs and share a kennel with my sister, Chiquita. I am house trained.
