Bisque the Dog needs a home
We're not going to leave out the best part - we're here to mention the bisque! Bisque is a low-key, but fun young adult. Bisque has lost his sight, but isn't let blindness get in the way of enjoying life. He is a goofy, playful dog who loves being around people. He's been spending time in an APA! foster home, and has shown us that he will make a fun companion. Losing his eyesight must have sharpened Bisque's hearing. He loves to hear praise and his favorite people's voices, and he'll respond quickly. He's not a super-affectionate dog, but he does enjoy some occasional petting and head-scratching. Bisque will need a patient family who can help him get used to his new environment. It will take him a bit of time to adjust to his new surroundings and learn his way around. But once he does, he's got a low-stress, casual attitude towards life that lets him enjoy his daily routine. Bisque has a lower energy level, so he doesn't need a great deal of stimulation during the day. He enjoys some outside time so that he can sniff around and explore, but he doesn't need heavy-duty exercise. Bisque would probably best enjoy a quieter, low-energy home. Concerned about his blindness? Once he gets used to your home's layout his needs won't be much different than any other dog. Bisque would love to meet you and share his carefree approach to life! And remember that when you adopt, you'll also be helping another dog who can his place in our program.
