Mercedes the Dog needs a home

Mercedes or Sadie as I call her is a dear sweet girl. Mercedes has spent a long time in the clinic for a skin disorder which is now under med control. Her time in the clinic allowed us to really get to know this darling girl. She is a little shy or timid. She's a bit of anomaly. She spends most of the day jumping to get out of the kennel. So we take her for a walk and she is so nervous that she runs back into her kennel. We all give her lots of loving and praise as she explores beyond her normal boundries. She is improving on going for longer walks, but she still likes to be in her comfort zone. I get the impression that she would be a great companion for someone that is home a lot. My vision is her sitting on her on pillow or a sofa while keeping an eye on everything going on around her. She is a smaller or petit dog so she is easy to pick up and love on. Mercedes will need a bit of a routine to get her house broken. She is getting better about doing her business on the walks but not consistent yet. Mercedes is gentle and allows you to wash off her feet. She likes her treats and hugs. Please meet our sweet girl. We all hope for someone that will be patient, minimal time alone and just give her lots of love. She will reward you a thousand times over. Her adoption fee cover her spay, microchip, vaccination and 30 days of free pet insurance.
