ADOPTION PROCESS

 

Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application.  Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check.  2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

This sweet girl was going to be euthanized at the shelter because she has ringworm. We could not let her be killed for something so treatable. We rescued her and treated her for ringworm and kennel cough, and she has bounced back perfectly! We changed her name from Bridgette to MOCHA - a happy new name to go along with her 2nd Chance!  We haven't yet had an opportunity to see how she does with other animals, so at this time we are hoping for a home without any.

Our girl is doing wonderfully in her foster home, and is ready for adoption.  If you live in the East Valley, i.e. Queen Creek, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, or San Tan Valley, and are able to open your home and heart to Mocha, please fill out an adoption application and we'll see if you are a match!
