Here is Snookii's story in his own words:
I know that my life is worth saving, because my rescuer saved me from a terrible situation. A man dumped my companion and me at a church out in the country when we were puppies. One day I was attacked by two big dogs and someone called my rescuer for help. Since the situation at the church was dangerous for me, my rescuer decided to nurse me back to health at her home. I like being at her home, where it is safe and warm with plenty of food and treats daily. I get along with her dogs and cats. Her dogs play with me daily so I get plenty of companionship and exercise. I don't fear for my life anymore. In fact, I am a bit spoiled. I also like to spoil my rescuer with kisses and endless greetings every time she comes home. I appreciate being cared for, loved, and understood. If you are looking for a cuddling type of animal companion who loves unconditionally, please contact HFHAF and ask about Snookii, a beautiful black doxie with a little bit of white and brown spots. I am about 3-4 years old...very active, healthy and weigh about 15 pounds! To save more lives and prevent animal cruelty, I was neutered at HOPE Animal Foundation in Fresno. All of our adoptable animal companions are in foster homes. Our adoption fee is negotiable and will not be more than any of the local adoption shelters in our area. If you would like to meet this pet please call 559-779-3037 to make an appointment. Our adoption process involves filling out an application and a mandatory home visit. If you live out of town, we can still arrange a home visit. We would like to ensure that this pet will be a good fit for your family. Our adoption/rehoming fee for each animal companion varies depending on a number of factors.
