Jake, Jake, he's so great! Jake is our latest save from Georgia. Jake was in a shelter for way too long and became urgent. He was a stray and no one came looking for him.


Well, we think everyone needs a little Jake in their lives! This guy has a BIG personality and he'll keep you laughing. Jake is great with children and other large dogs. We don't know how he is with small critters. Jake needs somebody to play with! He's about 2 years old and doesn't know his own size or strength. He needs someone who will work with him on his basic manners. He does know how to sit for a treat, and is very food motivated so his training should come easy. His overzealous love for life sometimes gets him super excited and he's very strong. His tail wags constantly. 


Jake is crate trained and house broken. He's looking for a home with other playful dogs and a tall, fenced yard, but he is an inside dog.  If you're looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, this guy is for you!


Jake is being fostered in NC.


~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
